I should be teaching you guys good bankroll management, but I thought I would to take my profits from the last 2 days and try one $50 sit n go single tournament. I just couldn’t help myself, I watched a good wpt tournament on tv tonight and got in a zone. Glad I did, read the rest of this entry for the screenshots of me snapping it off. I can’t wait to start getting into some of the more detailed poker strategies I use at the tables. I am trying to learn my way around this blog interface, and it just occurred to me I can do a screenshot of my wins, or anything for that matter. So it should be easier to illustrate what I am trying to get across with this new found knowledge lol. That’s it for me, I am calling it a night, up almost $300 in 2 days. I have more than doubled my deposit. The key now folks is don’t donkey it up and get into games that are out of your comfort zone.

You need to remember that I am an avid online poker player, so although it was not a good decision to raise my bet as I am trying to show people good bankroll management, I knew if I did not place in this tournament that I could always get back to grinding it out at the $10 tourneys. But now that I have a little capital, I can play more $20 $30 and $50 tournaments which is a little more my speed. I usually won’t go above $50 since the players at those tables are the gurus, and frankly there is no percentage in trying to fade them. Also bear in mind that I played this $50 tourney with the money I was already up.

I certainly would not have come into this journey betting 25% of my bankroll on 1 tournament. From here on out you should really see what I am all about when I hit the tables again.
